Fiorentina have played their cards in their bid to keep Mohamed Salah at the club and are now waiting for his response.

The winger joined La Viola from Chelsea on loan in January and previously the club were only looking to extend his loan deal until the end of next season.

However, interest from other clubs such as Inter Milan has forced La Viola’s hand and the club are said to be ready to sign the Chelsea winger on a permanent deal.

Fiorentina are prepared to pay €18m to the Blues to sign the winger on a permanent basis and are claimed to have offered Salah a lucrative contract.

According to Sky Italia, the Italian club have offered Salah a contract worth €2.8m per season after taxes and are waiting for the player to respond to their offer.

While it has still failed to meet the winger’s original demand of €3m per season, it is reportedly more than any other offer that he has on his table at the moment.

The Italians are confident that their latest offer should clinch them the signature of a man who has been impressive in his short stay at the club.

Fiorentina are expecting an answer from Salah’s camp by the end of the day.
