Nicolas Gaitan insists he feels good at Benfica, despite continually being linked with Atletico Madrid and Manchester United.

Benfica's president admitted recently that he is aware the Argentine wants to experience another league and insists he will not stand in his way if the club's asking price is met.

But Gaitan himself is not pushing to leave the Estadio da Luz and pointed out that despite the fierce speculation linking him with a move, he still remains a Benfica player. And he made light of stories of a transfer.

"I am well at Benfica", he told Portuguese daily Record after arriving back in Lisbon following his summer break.

"I have a contract", Gaitan continued.

The 27-year-old joined Benfica in 2010 from Argentine giants Boca Juniors.

He has established himself as a key man at the Estadio da Luz, helping Benfica to two Portuguese league titles, one Portuguese Cup and four Portuguese League Cups.

Gaitan's contract with current Portuguese champions Benfica has a further three years left to run.
