Manchester United are adamant about involving Sergio Ramos in any deal to sell David de Gea to Real Madrid.

De Gea’s contract with the Red Devils runs out at the end of next season and it is apparent that he is wanted at the Bernabeu by Real Madrid.

However, Manchester United have reportedly continued to stall negotiations for the 24-year-old and are determined to make life as difficult as possible for the Spanish giants.

The English giants are aware that Real Madrid and De Gea are desperate to get the deal done soon and are keen to use the situation to their advantage.

According to Madrid-based daily Marca, the Red Devils want Real Madrid defender Ramos as part of any deal that sees De Gea move to the Bernabeu next summer.

Due to his rapidly declining relationship with the Real Madrid hierarchy, the defender has reportedly told the club that he wants to leave and join Manchester United.

While Los Blancos want De Gea, they are also keen to keep the two deals separate but Manchester United are said to be determined on having their way in the negotiations with Real Madrid.

Manchester United are aware that with each passing day, Real Madrid’s desperation for De Gea will increase and it will help them to push up the price for a player who could be available next summer on a free transfer.
