Real Madrid youngster Derik Osede is set to bid goodbye to his childhood club to move to England to join Championship side Bolton Wanderers, according to Marca.

Having started off his career as a youngster with Madrid-based club DAV Santa Ana, the 22-year-old moved to Real Madrid in 2002.




Osede made his presence felt for Los Blancos' Under-10 side immediately and gradually rose through the ranks to make his debut for Real Madrid's C side, helping them return to the Segunda Division B in 2012.

The defender has also been part of the Santiago Bernabeu-based side's B team but has never managed an official game for their first team.
 


He though managed an appearance for the first team in the Santiago Bernabeu Trophy in 2012.

And now the youngster will look to have a taste of Championship football in order to gain more first team playing time.

The Trotters are currently being managed by former Celtic manager Neil Lennon and are looking for reinforcements in order to improve on last season's league standings.

If the deal goes through Osede will be following the footsteps of Fernando Hierro, Ivan Campo and Marcos Alonso, all of whom left the Spanish giants to try their luck in England.
