Sevilla have reached an agreement for AC Milan defender Adil Rami and are all set to sign the Frenchman on a four-year contract.

Rami previously played for La Liga giants Valencia prior to his permanent move to AC Milan last summer, following the conclusion of a loan spell.




Through the course of his time at the San Siro, the Frenchman made 44 appearances in all competitions and netted four goals to their cause.

The Andalusians have announced the agreement with AC Milan on their site: “Sevilla have reached an agreement with AC Milan over the transfer of Adil Rami, pending a medical.
 


“The player will undergo a medical next week once he returns from his holidays.

Sevilla enjoyed a successful campaign last term as they finished fifth in the league standings and retained the Europa League after defeating Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in the final, which also secured them a place in next season’s Champions League.

The Sanchez Pizjuan outfit are strengthening their squad to fight on all fronts in the coming season.

The 29-year-old has earned 26 caps with the France national team and has scored a solitary goal in the process.
