Arsenal starlet Hector Bellerin has said that the Gunners don’t just buy players, but they make them better, adding that the club faithful feel proud of their academy graduates playing in the first team.

Bellerin joined Arsenal from Catalan giants Barcelona in 2011 and made his first team debut for the north London outfit against West Bromwich Albion in September 2013.

Last season, he played a significant part in Arsenal’s campaign and notched up 28 appearances in all competitions as they finished third in the league standings and secured their second successive FA Cup following their 4-0 defeat of Aston Villa at Wembley in May.

The Catalan believes that the Emirates Stadium outfit don’t just buy a player, but they help them take their game a few notches up.

“The fans rate that Arsenal don’t just buy players, they make them the players they are”, he told Arsenal Player.

“Arsenal fans are really proud of that and I think that’s a great thing.

"When players like Francis [Coquelin], Jack [Wilshere] or myself come up, the fans should be proud that their team is doing what they’re doing.

“That’s a great thing Arsenal do”, he concluded.

Bellerin will look to help Arsenal continue the stellar form they have enjoyed in 2015 next season as they battle to secure their first league title in over a decade.
