Chelsea striker Diego Costa has said that he would love to team up with Atletico Madrid midfielder Arda Turan at Stamford Bridge, saying that he works well in tandem with the Turk.

Turan has been heavily linked with a move away from the Vicente Calderon this summer, with several European heavyweights, including Barcelona, Manchester United and Chelsea interested in prising him away this summer.

His agent, Ahmed Bulut, recently confessed that his client would prefer a move to the English Premier League.

And Costa, who moved to Stamford Bridge from the Vicente Calderon last summer along with Filipe Luis, has said that he would welcome a similar move by Turan.

“It would be fantastic; things are easier with Arda in the team”, the Spain international has been in Turkey, told Turkish daily Bugun in an interview, quoted by Spanish daily AS.

“Arda, Filipe [Luis] and I work well together and also Arda is a great person.

“He invited us to his house several times, especially for kebabs and I really liked them.

“The whole team went to dinner at his house”, the Brazil-born forward concluded.

Costa took to his inaugural campaign in English football like a duck to water and scored 20 goals in all competitions to help Chelsea to a domestic double of the league title and the League Cup.
