Inter Milan have revived their interest in VfL Wolfsburg winger Ivan Perisic, according to Italian daily Tuttosport.

Perisic has been at the Volkswagen Arena since the summer of 2013 when he arrived from Borussia Dortmund and played an instrumental role in Wolfsburg’s campaign last term as they ended up as runners-up in the Bundesliga and won their first ever DFB Pokal.

Inter, who have made significant signings this summer, including Miranda from Atletico Madrid and Martin Montoya from Barcelona, are looking for a loan deal for the Croat with an option to purchase in the future.

However, Wolfsburg want a fee in the range of €18m to €20m for the 26-year-old.

Roberto Mancini’s side are seeking to offload their winter transfer window signing Xherdan Shaqiri, and Perisic would be a viable replacement for the Swiss international.
