Real Madrid defender and Manchester United target Sergio Ramos is set on leaving the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, according to Madrid-based daily Marca.

Ramos has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer after his relationship with the Real Madrid hierarchy hit an all-time low.




The source of the 29-year-old’s unhappiness at the Santiago Bernabeu began with his protracted contract wrangle, but it escalated quickly as he took slight with the treatment of his brother and agent Rene Ramos.

He has been with Los Blancos for the past ten years since he joined them from Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan outfit Sevilla in the summer of 2005.
 


But his days in the Spanish capital appear numbered as Manchester United, who have already made a bid for the Spain international, seem set to prise him away from Real Madrid, and he remains set on leaving and is refusing to be persuaded to stay.
