Italian giants Juventus have completed the signing of Liverpool and Inter Milan-linked goalkeeper Neto from fellow Serie A outfit Fiorentina.

The 25-year-old has signed a four-year contract with the Bianconeri and will remain at the club until June 2019.

Neto's contract with Fiorentina ended at the end of the season and the goalkeeper had already informed La Viola that he would not be signing a new deal with the club.

Premier League giants Liverpool had shown interest in securing the services of the player, but they signed Adam Bogdan from Bolton Wanderers this month.

It was also believed that fellow Serie A side Inter Milan were also keen about a move with the Nerazzurri having made contact with the player's representatives regarding the transfer.

However, the Italian champions have now beaten off all competition to take him to Turin as the deputy of current number one Gianluigi Buffon.

Neto began his professional career with Brazilian side Atletico Paranaense in 2009 before joining Fiorentina in 2011.

He managed a total of 101 appearances for the club in the course of the last four seasons.
