Sevilla have reached an agreement with Stoke City target Yevhen Konoplyanka, and the winger is all set to join the Andalusians, subject to passing his medical.

Konoplyanka has been on the radar of Sevilla all summer, but up until recently they appeared to be losing hope in their pursuit of the Ukraine international.

Premier League outfit Stoke City led by manager Mark Hughes were also interested in securing his signature, but ultimately Unai Emery’s side have completed the move for the 25-year-old.

A statement released on Sevilla’s official website confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk and the winger is all set to become a Sevillista.

“Sevilla FC have reached an agreement with the Ukrainian international Yevhen Konoplyanka, subject to him passing the medical examination and that the final agreement with the Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk is closed.”
