Juventus striker and Tottenham Hotspur target Fernando Llorente is in advanced talks with Monaco for a move this summer, according to Spanish daily AS.

Llorente played second fiddle to Alvaro Morata at the Juventus Stadium last season and notched up nine goals and four assists from his 45 appearances in all competitions as the Old Lady collected a double of the league title and the Coppa Italia and also made the final of the Champions League.

Massimiliano Allegri’s side have already acquired Mario Mandzukic from Atletico Madrid, meaning Llorente’s first team minutes could be further sacrificed.

He has been linked with a move to Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur this summer as the Londoners build their squad for the 2015/16 season.

However, the Spain international appear to be heading to Monaco where he is likely to lead the line at Leonardo Jardim’s side.
