Simone Pepe admits that while he would like to remain in Italy, he does have offers on his table from abroad and is waiting to see what develops.

Juventus released the winger this summer and he has been strongly linked with English Championship side Leeds United.

Pepe's preference is to remain within Italian football, but he admits that there are clubs from outside Italy who are chasing his signature.

And he is not in the mood to take any decision yet, preferring to see what develops.

"I don't know yet", he told Tutto Juve, when asked about what his future is.

"We are seeing. I'd go back to Udinese. I was fine there. I'm looking forward to seeing what develops and what happens at the end."

Pepe was pressed on whether he always wants to stay in Serie A and took the chance to admit that he has interest from abroad; he has also been linked with Monaco.

"No [not necessarily always Serie A], there is also something abroad, as well as two or three teams in Serie A."

However, the winger's preference at present is to remain in the familiar surroundings of Serie A, even if he is not in a rush to pick his new side.

"I'd like to stay in Italy, then if something comes from a beautiful country, with good value. Let's wait a while and see how the market moves."

The 31-year-old joined Juventus from Udinese in 2010 and collected four Serie A titles with the Bianconeri, while he also won one Coppa Italia and two Italian Super Cups during his time in Turin.
