Liverpool are the most keen of a group of Premier League clubs on Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko.

The 25-year-old is ready to take the next step in his adventure in England and is open to leaving Newcastle United for one of his suitors, if a deal can be done.

While no offer has yet been made to the Magpies for Sissoko, he is on the radar of Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United, according to French sports daily L'Equipe.

And of the group it is Brendan Rodgers' Reds who are most interested in signing him.

Liverpool are working behind the scenes on Sissoko's eventual arrival, while Newcastle could pocket a big profit on the €2.5m they paid to sign the player from Toulouse in January 2013.

Sissoko has been a bright spot for Newcastle in a troubled year, with his performances attracting the Premier League's elite.

The Magpies have the midfielder locked down on a contract running until the summer of 2019, placing them in a strong position to dictate the terms of his departure.

Since arriving at Newcastle, Sissoko has made 94 appearances for the Magpies, scoring eleven goals.
