Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado's agent Alessandro Lucci has revealed that his client intends to stay at Stamford Bridge, despite reports linking him to several European clubs.

Cuadrado joined the London outfit in the winter transfer window, but he struggled for regular first team action under Jose Mourinho and was reduced to a mere four starts in the Premier League.

The Colombia international was reportedly offered to Catalan side Barcelona, but they refused the chance to take him to the Camp Nou.

There have also been reports of the winger moving back to Serie A, with Juventus and Inter Milan reported to be his likeliest destinations, but his agent has refuted such notions and insists that his client intends to stay at Stamford Bridge for the coming season.

"Much to my amazement, I read in some English and Italian newspapers about imaginary figures and agents associated with Cuadrado, so I think it is right to clarify the situation", Lucci told Italian outlet Tutto Mercato.

He further added that the Chelsea boss sees Cuadrado’s future at the club and even though the winger has admirers across Europe, he remains at Stamford Bridge.

"Cuadrado is a Chelsea player, who Mourinho strongly wanted just over five months ago and the coach truly believes in him.

"He has many admirers but I reiterate that Juan is a Chelsea player.

"I, as his agent and intermediary, will decide with Juan his future, nobody else will.”
