Massimiliano Allegri has signed a new contract with Juventus which extends his stay in Turin by a further year.

The former AC Milan coach had been under contract until the summer of 2016, but he has penned a new deal to extend that until the summer of 2017.

Allegri is being rewarded for leading the Bianconeri to a Serie A and Coppa Italia double in his first season in charge, while he also guided the club to the Champions League final.

Juventus could not beat Barcelona in Berlin, but Allegri earned many plaudits.
