Roma are monitoring Barcelona defender Adriano Correia in a bid to acquire him this summer, according to Sky Italia.

Adriano has been playing second fiddle to the first choice left-back Jordi Alba at the Camp Nou and last season he was reduced to a mere 16 league appearances.

His agent recently declared that his client is seeking pastures new in search of regular first team action.

Liverpool are also reported to be monitoring the Brazil international as they attempt to bolster their side and challenge for a top four finish after finishing sixth last term.

Roma are keen on Augsburg left-back Baba Rahman and see Adriano as alternative to the Ghanaian, in case they miss out on him.
