Atletico Madrid have joined the chase for the signature of Manchester United and Liverpool linked Aymen Abdennour.

The Tunisian defender’s future at Monaco is far from certain as a number of top clubs across Europe are keen to get their hands on him this summer.

Manchester United and Liverpool are said to be interested in the defender but West Ham have recently been ahead in the chase and clubs such as Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are also believed to be keen.

The chase for his signature is set to get more crowded as according to Spanish daily AS, Atletico Madrid are showing an interest in the Monaco defender.

Diego Simeone is keen to add more defensive reinforcements ahead of the new season and Abdennour has emerged as an option for the Atletico Madrid boss.
