Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Arsenal linked full-back Matteo Darmian for a transfer this summer, it has been claimed.

With clubs such as the Gunners and Bayern Munich interested in the player, Manchester United have taken some rapid strides to close in on a deal for the Italian international.




While they are yet to reach an agreement with Torino, the club are reportedly ready to offer the €20m (€18m plus €2m in add-ons) that the Italian club are demanding for the player.

However, according to Turin-based daily Tuttosport, the club have already reached an agreement with the player’s entourage’s over his personal terms.
 


It has been claimed that the Red Devils have proposed a four-year contract for Darmian worth €2.5m per season to lure him to Old Trafford.

With personal terms claimed to be agreed, Manchester United are expected to take the decisive step in their chase for Darmian by the end of today and the player could be on his way to Old Trafford this summer.

Louis van Gaal is believed to be in the market for a full-back and Darmian’s international pedigree with Italy is said to have played a major role in convincing the Dutchman about the viability of the Torino man.
