Manchester United are in constant touch with Torino to reach an agreement over a fee for right-back Matteo Darmian.

The Red Devils have stepped up on their interest in the player and have already reportedly agreed personal terms with the Italian international.

With Arsenal and Bayern Munich also rumoured to be interested, the Red Devils are keen to close out a deal for the 25-year-old as soon as possible and according to Sky Italia, the club are in constant contact with Torino to reach an agreement over a fee.

Torino are prepared to sell the player this summer but have asked for a fee of around €20m (€18m plus €2m in add-ons) for the player and Manchester United are believed to be moving towards their demands.

However, the clubs are yet to reach an agreement but Manchester United are still in talks with Torino and are confident that an agreement is on the way.

With personal terms claimed to be agreed, Darmian is said to be just one step away from moving to Old Trafford this summer and is waiting for both  clubs to work out the fee.

A right-back by trade, Darmian is adept at playing on both the flanks and his versatility is also one of the reasons why Louis van Gaal is keen to take him to England this summer.

Darmian has made 150 apperances for Torino and since making his debut for Italy last year, he has established himself as the first choice right-back in Antonio Conte’s team.
