Torino are plotting a move for former Celtic and Manchester City striker John Guidetti this summer.

After being released by Manchester City, the Swedish Under-21 international is a free agent and is on the lookout for a new club.

A number of clubs, who were interested in signing him, were put off by his wage demands and his search for a new home continues.

Sevilla are believed to be interested in the player and the Swede himself has admitted that he would love to join the Andalusian club this summer.

However, Sevilla are not the only club who are eyeing the free agent as according to Turin-based daily Tuttosport, Torino are also plotting a summer swoop for Guidetti.
