Celtic youngster Stuart Findlay has joined fellow Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock on loan until the end of the 2015/16 season.

The defender joins an extended list of youngsters who have already left the outfit on a temporary basis to gather experience at other clubs.

The list includes the likes of Calum Waters, Michael Duffy and Connor McManus, all of whom have decided to leave Celtic Park to continue with their development.

The 19-year-old, a product of the Hoops youth academy has been part of the club since 2009.

Since his promotion to the senior ranks in 2013, Findlay has been out on loan to the Championship twice, first to Greenock Morton and then to Dumbarton.

Kilmarnock will therefore provide the first such opportunity for the youngster to enjoy senior team experience at the top level in Scotland.

Findlay, a Scottish Under-21 international as well, has been a regular for the Bhoys Development Squad for a number of seasons.

He has also featured in the UEFA Youth League and English Premier League International Cup.
