Young Botafogo striker Luis Henrique has sent a message back to Arsenal hitman Olivier Giroud after the Frenchman wished him every success in his career.

Henrique has just signed up with Puma, the brand which Giroud also has a deal with. And following the news Giroud sent the young Brazilian a message of encouragement, urging him to fulfil his potential.




It has not taken long for the Arsenal striker to receive a response, with Henrique recording his own video message for Giroud and thanking the Frenchman for his words.

Henrique said: "Hello, Giroud! Thanks for the message and the encouragement.
 

 

"I'm so happy to be part of the Puma family and I hope to have a great career like yours", the Brazilian continued.

Just 17 years old, Luis Henrique has been tipped for big things in Brazil and is a highly rated striking talent in his homeland.

At present Botafogo are playing in Brazil's second tier, with Luis Henrique receiving first team minutes and already having hit the back of the net.

Botafogo currently top the Brazilian Serie B table.
