Chelsea are yet to send one final document to Atletico Madrid, which would formalise Filipe Luis’ move back to the Vicente Calderon.

Jose Mourinho has already said that the Brazilian is on his way back to Spain after just one season in England and Atletico Madrid are closing in on snapping him up this summer.

Luis is claimed to have already passed a medical with Atletico Madrid and is just waiting for both clubs to finalise the details of the switch.

Atletico Madrid were expecting to receive the final documents of the deal yesterday but according to Marca, Chelsea are yet to send over the relevant papers.

Therefore, even though the deal is all but done, without the documents Atletico Madrid are not able to make a formal announcement of the Brazilian’s signing
