Pep Guardiola has steered Bayern Munich into the race for Barcelona starlet Adama Traore.

Several Premier League sides, including Manchester United, are alive to the possibility of snapping Adama up from the Catalan giants in the current transfer window.

But Guardiola is hoping that he can win the race for Adama, who is under contract at the Camp Nou until 2018 and whose contract contains a release clause set at €15m.

According to Catalan radio station RAC1, the Bayern Munich manager is weighing up a loan approach for the 19-year-old.

Adama, who operates as right winger, could struggle for regular first team football at the Camp Nou next term.
