Galatasaray midfielder Felipe Melo is close to completing his move to Inter Milan this summer, according to Sky Italia.

Melo has been with the Turkish giants since the summer of 2011 when he landed at the Turk Telekom Arena from Juventus, initially on a loan which was made permanent in 2013.

It has been claimed that Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has promised Melo he will complete his signing before the Italian outfit face Galatasaray on 2nd August in a friendly.

Roberto Mancini’s side have made considerable signings this summer as they attempt to improve upon their eighth placed league finish from last season and fight for European places in the 2015/16 campaign.

Inter have already acquired Joao Miranda from Atletico Madrid, Barcelona right-back Martin Montoya, Monaco midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia among others and Melo’s acquisition will further bolster their ranks.
