Sassuolo are eyeing a move for former Liverpool defender Javier Manquillo this summer.
Napoli are in talks with Sassuolo for the signature of Sime Vrsaljko and the full-back is expected to be one his way to Naples this summer.
While they are yet to agree a deal for Vrsaljko’s departure, Sassuolo are already scouring the market for a replacement and has already zeroed in on one of their potential targets.
According to Sportitalia, the Modena-based club are taking a closer look at Atletico Madrid full-back Manquillo and are claimed to be keen to take him to Italy this summer.
Manquillo failed to make his mark at Liverpool last season and came back to Atletico Madrid from his loan spell earlier this month, but the club are ready to loan him out again this summer.
