Italian giants Inter have confirmed that Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic will arrive in Milan tomorrow ahead of sealing a switch to the club.

Roberto Mancini's men have been keen to snap up the former Fiorentina striker and are now on the verge of getting their man, with Jovetic himself already opting to bid farewell to the Citizens.

Inter announced via their Twitter feed: "Stevan Jovetic will arrive in Milan tomorrow before undergoing a medical on Tuesday."

The striker also took to Twitter and wrote his own message, confirming he is on his way to Milan and posting a photograph of himself on a private jet.

The 25-year-old joined Manchester City from Fiorentina in 2013, but struggled to make an impact at the Etihad Stadium as a lack of form and injuries relegated him to just 30 Premier League appearances.

In February this year, as Manchester City snapped up Wilfried Bony, he was dropped from the club's Champions League squad list.

Jovetic will now return to the happier hunting ground of Serie A with Inter as he aims to get his career back on track.

At Fiorentina, Jovetic scored 14 and 13 goals in Serie A in the two seasons prior to his departure for England.
