Tottenham Hotspur defender Vlad Chiriches is expected to sign for Italian Serie A side Napoli either tomorrow or on Wednesday following talks between his representatives and the Azzurri.
Spurs are happy to allow Chiriches to move on this summer and he did appear set to join Paulo Sousa's Fiorentina.
But following Napoli barging their way into the race, La Viola have dropped out of the running and Chiriches prefers a move to the southern Italian side.
His representatives have been holding discussions in Milan with Napoli officials today and according to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, an agreement has been found.
Chiriches is happy with his choice and eager to seal a move to Napoli as soon as possible.
