Chile international striker Angelo Henriquez has opened up on his permanent move from Manchester United to Dinamo Zagreb earlier this summer.

The Red Devils loaned the striker to the Croatian giants for the 2014/15 campaign and he turned heads with his performances, leading Dinamo Zagreb to push to make his move permanent.

Now Henriquez is aiming to pick up where he left off last term and revealed the chance to play in the Champions League helped to motivate his decision to join Dinamo Zagreb permanently.

"I came here so I could play with Dinamo in the Champions League", he explained to 24 Sata.

"That is my great desire", Henriquez, who scored 20 goals for Dinamo Zagreb in the Croatian top flight last term, added.

"I want to get Dinamo into the group stage."

Henriquez has been thrust into the new Croatian league campaign after helping Chile to Copa America success earlier this summer and he admits that when he initially returned to Croatia he was tired from his international efforts.

But the striker now feels back on track after being left out against Inter Zapresic at the weekend, something which allowed him to have a much-needed rest.

"I was tired at the beginning of the season", Henriquez admitted.

"I really welcomed the break from the game against Inter. I managed to get some rest."

Manchester United snapped up Henriquez from Universidad de Chile and sent him out on loan spells with Wigan Athletic and Real Zaragoza before he headed to Croatia with Dinamo Zagreb.
