Rangers manager Mark Warburton is delighted at the club passing the 30,000 season ticket holders mark ahead of the kick off of the new Scottish Championship season and stated his desire to experience a full Ibrox.

Warburton's short stint as manager has already got Rangers fans buzzing, helped in no small part by the Gers destructive 6-2 thrashing of Hibernian at Easter Road in the Petrofac Training Cup on Saturday.




Now hopes are high amongst the club faithful of a fruitful campaign and promotion to the Scottish Premiership, meaning fans have been flocking to snap up season tickets.

Almost 30,500 have been sold so far, with Rangers now targeting the 35,000 mark.
 

 

Warburton is delighted and wants to experienced an Ibrox full to the rafters with Rangers fans.

Looking ahead to this weekend's Scottish League Cup tie against Peterhead, Warburton told his club's site: "This is the first of the home competitive matches and our aim as a football department must be to provide the type of football that brings both results and a style of play that our fans, who are at the heart of it all, enjoy and deserve.

"I’ve been told so many times about a full Ibrox and it would be an honour to experience that as a Rangers manager", the former Brentford boss added.

Rangers have been active in the summer transfer window as Warburton puts the finishing touches to his squad, something which has added to the sense of excitement.
