Manchester City technical director Txiki Begiristain held talks with Wolfsburg officials over the weekend in London over the signature of Kevin De Bruyne.

The Belgian playmaker is one of the most sought after players in world football at the moment and Wolfsburg are trying hard to keep him at the club for at least one more season.

While the Wolves have made it clear that the Belgian is not for sale, De Bruyne himself is uncertain about his future and said that he is still not sure where he will play his football next season.

Manchester City are aggressively chasing the playmaker this summer and according to Belgian daily Het Laatste Nieuws, the club’s technical director was in London during the weekend to hold further talks with Wolfsburg.

The Bundesliga side were in the English capital for the Emirates Cup and Begiristain tried to make full use of the opportunity by trying to talk about the possibility of signing De Bruyne with Wolfsburg.
