The agent of Lucas Digne has denied reports that he has been given permission to hold talks with Liverpool.

Paris Saint-Germain defender Digne has been linked with leaving the Parc des Princes this summer as he aims to ensure regular first team football in 2015/16 ahead of next summer's European Championship on home soil.

The French champions are keen for the former Lille man to stay and agent Mikkel Beck insists they have not granted him permission to hold talks with Liverpool over a move for his client.

Beck explained to Danish daily Ekstra Bladet: "It's not right. They have not given me permission to talk with Liverpool.

"I cannot comment on clubs, but there is interest from several big sides. We have to see if something happens, but that's what's being looked at now", he continued.

"Lucas isn't 100 per cent satisfied with his situation in Paris."

Digne made a total of 24 appearances for PSG last season, but managed to turn out just once in the Champions League despite his side's run to the quarter-finals of Europe's elite competition.

The 22-year-old was snapped up by PSG from Lille in the summer of 2013, the capital club lavishing around €15m to secure his signature from their Ligue 1 rivals.
