Arsenal linked defender Alessio Romagnoli has remained non-committal about his future at Roma.

The 20-year-old centre half has been widely linked with a move away from Roma, with AC Milan believed to be his primary suitors.

While Arsenal are also said to be involved in the chase, the Rossoneri are currently doing all the running to take the defender from Rome to Milan this summer.

The Milanese giants have made an offer of around €25m, but the Giallorossi are holding out for a figure close to €30m for the defender.

Romagnoli is playing his cards close to his chest over a move and when asked about his future at the Stadio Olimpico, the defender was quoted as saying by Corriere dello Sport: “Let’s see.”

While the speculation surrounding his future is growing with each passing day, the defender chose to remain non-committal about his future at Roma.

On the other hand, AC Milan have made it clear that they won’t offer more than their current bid, but are confident that they will be able to sign the youngster once they return from their pre-season tour of China.

Romagnoli caught the attention of his suitors with assured performances at the back during his loan spell at Sampdoria last season.
