Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has insisted that he is still doesn’t know about the whereabouts of Paris Saint-Germain target Angel di Maria.

The Argentine winger is widely tipped to be on his way to PSG after just one season at Old Trafford and a fee has reportedly been agreed between the two clubs.

While he is not expected to join PSG before their pre-season tour of the US ends, the 27-year-old is expected to undergo a medical with the Parisians early next week.

Despite all the speculation surrounding the winger’s future, Van Gaal stressed that he is still unaware about the location of Di Maria and indicated that Manchester United are yet to agree to his sale.

When asked about Di Maria’s whereabouts, Van Gaal said in a press conference: “I don’t know where he is.

Di Maria joined Manchester United from Real Madrid last summer for a club record fee of €75m and after an initial burst of good form, his performances petered down as the season progressed.

He scored four goals and provided 12 assists to his team-mates in 32 appearances for the Red Devils last season.
