The agent of in-demand Juventus striker Fernando Llorente is in discussions with Arsenal about a potential deal for his client, it has been claimed.

Juventus are looking to offload the forward this summer, which has led to him being linked with a wide range of clubs across Europe.




Manchester United have also been mentioned as one of his suitors this summer and another Premier League club are now linked with a move for the 30-year-old Spaniard.

It has been claimed that Arsenal are considering taking Llorente from the Italian champions and according to Corriere dello Sport, his agent arrived in London on Tuesday to negotiate a potential transfer for his client with the Gunners.
 


Arsene Wenger is believed to be looking for a back-up striker for Oliver Giroud and is said to be keen on including the former Athletic Bilbao forward to his squad.

Llorente is currently recovering from an ankle injury but is expected to be fit before the start of the new season.

He hit the back of the net just nine times in 45 appearances last season for the Bianconeri and has a contract until 2017 with the club.
