Barcelona legend Xavi Hernandez feels that former manager Pep Guardiola will return to the club in the future.

Guardiola had a hugely successful career at the Camp Nou as a player. Having graduated to the first team from youth divisions of the club, he went on to make close to 300 appearances, winning numerous trophies in the process.

Xavi, another La Masia product, also went on to have an illustrious career with the Catalan outfit, becoming the player with most appearances as well as the most trophies in the club’s history.

Guardiola returned to the Camp Nou as a manager and during his four years at the club as the first team boss – from 2008 until his departure in 2012 – he went on to win 14 trophies, including three league titles and two Champions Leagues, while playing Xavi as his midfield linchpin.

The 44-year-old now manages Bayern Munich of the German Bundesliga and will start his third season at the Allianz Arena in the 2015/16 campaign.
