Roma are in negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain for the signature of Liverpool target Lucas Digne.

The full-back has already played under Rudi Garcia at Lille and the current Roma coach is keen to reunite with the 22-year-old at the Stadio Olimpico.

While Liverpool have also shown an interest, the Giallorossi are stepping up on their interest and according to Sky Italia, they have opened talks with PSG over a deal for Digne.

Roma are keen to sign him on an initial loan deal and based on his performances, and also reserve the right to make the move permanent at a later date.

Digne played sporadic football last season and is said to be keen to move away from PSG for more action on the pitch ahead of next summer’s European Championship.
