Arsenal midfielder Jon Toral has joined Championship outfit Birmingham City on a season-long loan.
Toral spent last season on loan at Brentford and notched 34 league appearances for the Bees to help them finish among the playoff spots, although they lost to Middlesbrough in the semi-final and remained in the Championship.
The youngster is set to spend another season away from the Emirates Stadium and in the Championship.
A statement released by the Arsenal website confirmed the deal with Birmingham City.
“Young midfielder Jon Toral has joined Birmingham City on loan for the 2015/16 campaign.”

Toral signed for the north London outfit from Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona in 2011 and is yet to make his first team debut for the Gunners, although he has 22 appearances for their Under-21 side.
The midfielder was part of the Gunners’ pre-season tour of Singapore earlier this summer.
He will be eager to help Birmingham improve upon their tenth placed finish from last season and push for promotion to the Premier League next term.
