Leeds United goalkeeper Marco Silvestri has expressed his eagerness to lock horns with Premier League outfit Everton in his side's final pre-season fixture tomorrow.

The Peacocks have not had a good pre-season in terms of finding positive resultsm but are in an upbeat mood after having given some top sides a run for their money.

The 24-year-old, who has featured heavily for Leeds so far this pre-season, feels that their final match against the Toffees will be the ideal opportunity for them to show how capable they are in terms of finding positive results and then the Whites can go into the new season on an optimistic note.

It will also a be a chance for the Championship side to get back to Elland Road and play in front of their home fans, which the goalkeeper feels will be a huge boost.

“I think it’s a very good game – the first match back at Elland Road against a Premier League team”, Silvestri told his club's official website.
