AC Milan are willing to raise their offer for Arsenal linked Alessio Romagnoli to break the deadlock in negotiations with Roma.

The Rossoneri have made an offer of around €25m for the 20-year-old defender and have previously stated that they won’t go beyond the quoted figure.

Roma are holding out for a fee of around €30m but with Arsenal also interested in the player, the Milanese giants are ready to raise their offer to break the deadlock.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri are ready to add bonus payments to their current offer which could take the price to around €28m, a figure close to that Roma are demanding for Romagnoli.

AC Milan have identified the Italian Under-21 international as one of their primary targets and are keen to go an extra mile to take him from Roma this summer.
