Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc is expecting to complete the signing of Angel di Maria from Manchester United in the next few days.

The French champions have reportedly agreed a fee with Manchester United for the transfer of the Argentine and the deal is just waiting to happen.

The Parisians have also agreed a four-year contract with the 27-year-old winger and he is expected to earn a salary of around €10m per season at the Parc des Princes

When asked whether he can announce the imminent arrival of Di Maria, Blanc told Le Parisien: “It is only a matter of days, maybe three.

“Be patient.”

Di Maria is expected to arrive in Paris early next week to undergo a medical before putting pen to paper on a contract with his new club.

The transfer will conclude PSG’s more than a year-long long chase for the Argentine’s signature and would also end his season-long stay at Manchester United.

The English giants signed the 27-year-old from Real Madrid last summer for a club record fee of €75m, but his failure to settle down in England means he on his way to France after just one season at Old Trafford.
