Schalke coach Andre Breitenreiter hasn’t ruled out the possibility of Arsenal and Juventus target Julian Draxler leaving the club this summer.

Arsenal have a long term interest in the Germany international, but Juventus are the ones who have done all the hard work to sign Draxler in the current transfer window.

However, Schalke suddenly called off negotiations with the Italian champions last month and stressed that they won’t sell the winger to the Bianconeri this summer.

The club also directed the player and his agent to stop all negotiations over a transfer with Juventus.

Schalke coach Breitenreiter revealed that he was the one who stopped the club from selling the player this summer, but admits that things could change if they receive a ‘brutal’ offer.

When asked about Draxler, the Schalke coach told Bild: “I inserted my objection.

“I want to keep him 100 per cent, but I do not what will happen if we receive a brutal offer.”

Breitenreiter also stressed that there is no agreement in place with Juventus and revealed that he hasn’t faced any problems with regards to Draxler’s conduct so far.

"He is on full throttle. I do not feel any disappointment with him.”

Juventus have not lost hope of getting a deal done for Draxler and are expected to continue to probe Schalke this month to reopen negotiations, with coach Massimiliano Allegri wanting the club to provide him with a number 10 for next season.
