Lyon are ready to sell Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur linked Clinton Njie this summer if they receive a good offer.

Premier League giants Arsenal and Tottenham are claimed to be interested in the player, while the latter have tried and failed with a concrete offer for the promising striker.

However, while Les Gones have rejected a bid from Tottenham of €10m, they are open to the idea of selling the player, provided they have a good offer for him on their table this summer.

Speaking to L’Equipe, Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas said: “Between Clinton Njie and Yassine Benzia, one of the two can leave if we receive a good proposal.”

Tottenham are claimed to be desperate to take Njie to White Hart Lane this summer and are expected to come back with an improved offer for the forward.

Their next offer is expected to be around the €15m mark and the north London club are confident that they will be able to agree a deal with Lyon for Njie. But it remains to be seen whether Arsenal insert themselves into the race and battle their rivals.

While the 21-year-old Cameroonian international is still not a regular starter at Lyon, he still managed to hit the back of the net eight times last season and is considered a prospect for the future.

He has also earned eleven caps for Cameroon and has a contract until 2019 with Lyon.
