Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is expected to fly across to Barcelona next week to close out a deal for Pedro Rodriguez.

The Red Devils are back in England from their pre-season tour of the US and Woodward is expected to press the accelerator to bring in few more new players before the transfer window slams shut on 1st September.




Manchester United have been in negotiations with Barcelona over a deal for Pedro and there is speculation that an agreement is close.

According to Catalan daily Sport, Woodward is expected to arrive in Barcelona early next week to finalise the deal with the Catalan giants for the signature of Pedro.
 


The player has reportedly agreed terms with the Red Devils and has asked the club hierarchy to sanction his sale this summer.
