Leeds United legend Eddie Gray has warned that the Whites cannot consider themselves to have kept hold of their young in-demand talents just yet.

The club's young stars, notably Sam Byram, Alex Mowatt and Lewis Cook, have all been linked with Premier League teams this summer, however the Whites insist they are not looking to sell their gems.

All three are still at Elland Road and played in a 2-0 friendly win over Everton earlier today, raising hopes they will still be at the club when the summer transfer window slams shut.

Gray too is hoping that Leeds can keep hold of their young talents, but he warned that the transfer window is far from closed.

Speaking on LUTV and replying to a comment that it is positive Leeds have kept their young talents, especially Sam Byram who has been most recently linked with a move away, Gray said: "Touch wood.

"Still four weeks [of the transfer window] to go. So you never can tell."

Leeds head coach Uwe Rosler has been clear in his desire to keep hold of the club's top players and recently asked for transfer speculation surrounding Byram to die down.

The German though pragmatically admitted that every player has their price.

Byram has recently been linked with Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton.
