Fixture: Celtic vs Ross County
Competition: Scottish Premiership
Kick-off: 12:45 (UK time)

Celtic have confirmed their starting eleven and substitutes to lock horns with Ross County at Celtic Park on the first day of the new Scottish Premiership season.

Manager Ronny Deila has chosen to go with Leigh Griffiths to spearhead his side's attack. The striker started on the bench in midweek European action after suffering with toothache, but he is ready to go today. Griffiths will be supported by Gary Mackay-Steven, Stuart Armstrong, James Forrest and Stefan Johansen, in what is an attacking looking line-up.

Teenager Kieran Tierney starts on flag day, replacing the suspended Emilio Izaguirre at left-back. Virgil van Dijk is in defence, along with new signing Dedryck Boyata, while Scott Brown is a familiar face in midfield. Stefan Scepovic is on the bench, along with Kris Commons, if Deila needs to look to throw on further attacking options..

The Bhoys head into the game high on match fitness as their Champions League campaign is already under way. Celtic beat Azerbaijan side Qarabag 1-0 in the first leg of their third qualifying round tie earlier this week and will be keen to make their momentum count against Ross County.
