Manchester United have made a bid for Palmeiras and Brazil Under-20 right back Joao Pedro.

Despite a few big names signings, Manchester United are still committed towards signing exciting young players across the world and have made a move for the 18-year-old full-back.




According to Fox Sports Brasil, the English giants have made a €4m bid for the Palmeiras full-back and are now waiting for the Brazilian outfit’s response.

Schooled at Palmeiras’ youth academy, the youngster caught the attention of the Manchester United scouts with his performances in the Under-20 World Cup.
 


Pedro was one of the stars of the team which made it to the final of the competition before they eventually lost to Serbia at the last hurdle.

He has been causing ripples on the Brazilian youth circuit and even made his league debut for Palmeiras last season.

While they are yet to get a response from the Brazilian outfit, Manchester United are confident that they will be able to agree a deal for Pedro.

Manchester United sold Saidy Janko to Celtic this summer and if signed, Pedro is expected to slot into the club’s Under-21 team.
