Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs says that it is 99.9 per cent certain that Kevin De Bruyne will be staying at the club.

The Belgium international has been the subject of serious interest from two of Europe's richest clubs in the shape of Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain, but Wolfsburg want to keep him at the Volkswagen Arena.

Allofs admits that when offers come in then Wolfsburg seriously consider them, out of respect for the players at the club.

But he claims the Wolves do not need to sell De Bruyne and therefore it is highly unlikely that he will leave this summer.

Allofs said on German broadcaster ZDF: "We are not a club that need transfer revenue.

"We would deal seriously with offers out of respect for our players.

"But the probability that he remains is 99.9 per cent."

De Bruyne turned in a good performance for Wolfsburg in this evening's German Super Cup against Bayern Munich, helping his side draw 1-1 in normal time.

The Super Cup went to penalties, which saw Wolfsburg run out winners, the final spot-kick being converted by Nicklas Bendtner.
