Chelsea have confirmed their team to lock horns with rivals Arsenal in this afternoon's Community Shield clash taking place at Wembley.
Manager Jose Mourinho has selected French striker Loic Remy to lead his side's attack, supported by Eden Hazard and Willian, Cesc Fabregas will aim to dominate the midfield battle, helped by Ramires and Nemanja Matic. John Terry captains Chelsea today and is partnered in the heart of defence by Gary Cahill.
On the bench Mourinho can turn to on loan striker Radamel Falcao if he needs to add to his attacking options, while Juan Cuadrado and Oscar are also amongst the substitutes. Also on the bench is new signing Asmir Begovic.
Chelsea eased to the Premier League title last season, while Arsenal finished in third, and Mourinho will surely want his team to lay down an early marker of their intention to defend their crown in the upcoming campaign, along with picking up the season's first piece of silverware.
